Reading that the tour committee is handing out our refreshments & boxed lunch on two days prior to us leaving for the day's tour, ...lets hear some creative ways folks that are attending this tour are planning to carry their lunch and refreshments so they don't get smashed or overheated during the drive. For me, I am thinking we're 'bout out of room so I will need to come up with a plan.
Here's my dilemma. My daughter BreAnna's speedster does not have much extra room, ...and by the time she & her passenger puts their gear, her purse, along with a 6-pack cooler in the car they are just about out of room.
I am planning on driving a '16 Touring with four grown-ups for passengers, ...and with the left side running board loaded with a tool box and two 6-pack coolers full of enough water/drinks for the day, it appears my outside stowage is about full too. Filling the inside floorboards with 8 (big) feet, the ladies purses (even bigger), the morning jackets, souvenirs bags, etc., etc., it ain't gonna allow for a big enough cooler to stow 6 lunches plus some refreshments in. Anyone got thoughts on this and what they are gonna do??
Thanks!
Brent,
The folded down top of the 16 is a good place for soft stored items. Once you use one running board, there is not much space left, especially for anything chilled. Did check the temp yesterday and it looks a lot cooler than TN!
Brent,
We're taking our manifold cookers....plen ty of space under the hood. Greasy Fan Belt Goulash, coming up. People and dogs will follow us......

Frank,
I won my Model T manifold cooker as a door prize and have never used it, so this might be a goodtime to drag it out.
I'll be bringing my TT express body again, so space is not a issue..lol
