Have something exciting this new year to share with fellow Model T's lovers.
Back in 2004, I authored an article in the Model T Times, No.329, Jan/Feb 2004, pp3-5. on this adventure of Model T's that crossed the globe. Aloha Wanderwell, who drove Model T No. 2, was the first woman to drive from Paris to Peking.
Details of the adventure and the life of Capt Walter Wanderwell and Aloha have been on my webpage:

Last year I made email contact with the grandson of Aloha Wanderwell, Mr. Richard Diamond, and he now has the family records of this wonderful adventure that was made possible by the Model T. Richard now has a splendid website with a 9 minute video of the Wanderwell tour, a must see, these are original movie clips made as the teams crossed the world, a great story......you will enjoy seeing this, (note, the site is copyright protected, to keep from loosing this valuable history, so you have to click on the 'accept' button after you enter the site)
So go to this webpage, click on the lower bar "see the story" to enter, and enjoy a journey back in the '20s with Model T Fords making tracks in the remotest and untraveled areas of the world......

Dan Thank for sharing this wonderful story. Makes our cross Country trip seem trivial. What a brave soul she was.

What a wonderful biography!! Never heard of these two adventurers before today!!! We need to see more of these stories!!!
Thanks Dan, for creating this forum..and the kind words about my Grand Mother... The Big News is CMG Worldwide has decided to represent her to the world.. They are very well known for the people they represent, and it should launch Aloha Wanderwell into a big 2010...
